Does this mean you can get a Spyro epic flying mount for 40k gold?

Vivendi is merging with Activision, this is pretty big news. Maybe we can get to see Warcraft characters in the next guitar hero? D:

Blizzard being bought out by Activision is actually inaccurate. Vivendi is breaking their games division off (which Blizzard is a part of) and merging it with Activision. According to the values being tossed around, Vivendi Games is worth more than Activision, and Vivendi is the one that will be in control. It's more like Activision is being absorbed by Vivendi Games and being allowed to keep the name. ;)
Watch out for Activision Blizzard stock though -- that should be a fairly hot ticket if this merger is approved.

Wait, since when does two games that four people played constitute a "successful franchise"? Damn Spyro.
