DLing the live launcher legit?

is there a way to DL the live patcher legit if you have an account which E Q has been subscribed to?

If you are trying to play on SoD you will either need an active game account with SoE so you can patch OR install with your own disks, such as the Titanium package which is purchased at a store.

Providing download links is a no no here.

Actually it appears that you can patch from the new live patcher with an old non-active account. So as long as you have one time in the past paid for the live game you can patch up. But from what I hear others say you can no longer choose which expansions you want to download.. you just get them all! Kero said her game folder was over 5.5 gigs with all the expansions.. So be ready for a long wait while you patch.

Also, if you do this, you will still get the wrong sro files.

acc, to the danish law i can download it, provided of course i have the original CDs which i have so ill just find a torrent

Actually thats moot now, at least with me, the patcher requiring valid and payed up account information to conduct the patch process.

Additionally (and frustratingly) the patcher seems to no longer allow us to choose which expansions we're patching for. So be prepared for a wait.

cracks arent illega in DK you know, and therefor not considered warez

So discuss it on a forum in where ever you're from. I'm fairly sure that the forum rules aren't based on the laws in your country. :psyduck:


This may surprise you, but we do appreciate the efforts of those that coded the clientside software we make use of, and we would like to see it properly paid for since the whole purpose of the "free download" is to pay the kind of monthly cost we do not charge.

Not so much a legality issue, but a notion of respect to the game coders.

If you have those CD's then just install the game, patch, play, and enjoy yourself while not posting about cracks/warez. Whatever is legal where YOU are does not matter if it's against the forum rules.

the problem with my discs is they are litteraly broken to hell, so i ant use them

Where did you find this law you're talking about? Let me quote you:

Also, even if it was legal for you to copy it, titanium is a completely seperate product from all the expansions that Titanium contains.
